Vintage Baseball Party

A friend of mine wanted to throw a birthday party for her husband who was turning 40. He loves baseball, played in college and coaches his 2 sons. We came up with this theme to really showcase the "then and now" We had a lot of fun with it. Brown, red and white were our primary colors but we couldn't go without the traditional over the hill black!
With countless pictures of the birthday boy playing ball, we filled picture frames with them and placed them conspicuously around the house. There were baseballs, gloves, baseball cards oh and need I forget the peanuts and crackerjacks. I hope you enjoy the pictures, I had a lot of fun with this one!

Went to Kinkos and had a poster made with his college name and details of the year he was born put on this poster. Then taped it to a frame we already had.

Wooden frames from Walmart at $3 each worked perfectly for our pictures. All the guests signed this one.

Everyone has a baseball bat and glove lying around and it looked great sitting on our table.

Found crackerjacks and peanuts at Walmart

Small Coke bottles, paperbags of popcorn, Dollar store candles

I used black tulle and red wired ribbon to make these chair covers. Dollar store had foam water balls designed like a baseball that I threaded onto our tulle.
